Our story began in 2000 in Novato, California, where our founder, Rob D’Ambrosia, designed an above store reporting software to solve a problem he was experiencing as a restauranteur. Our early customers included Biaggis, Gott’s Roadside, Lark Creek Inn and Piatti. Over the years, we grew our customer base, added a Houston office and expanded our product portfolio to include inventory, COGs, schedule, mobile apps for managers and employees to now where we have a complete integrated end to end solution.
In 2017, we joined forces with Compeat, uniting two restaurant management software market leaders. The Compeat story also began in 2000 in New Orleans, where Compeat founder, Harry Barkerding, realized his dream of designing a software that helped restaurants run easier. Using his own restaurant experience to design an accounting and inventory software he attracted early customers like Ground Pati, Dave and Busters, Copeland’s and That’s Amore. The Compeat team thrived in New Orleans until Hurricane Katrina hit with great force in 2005, wiping out Compeat’s office but not the Compeat team. Banding together, the entire Compeat team relocated with Harry to Dallas, Texas where one of our very own customers, Dave and Busters, was kind enough to give us a place to work as we recovered and kept our customers running. In 2006, Compeat decided to set roots in the great Austin, Texas area where music, restaurants and technology were plentiful.
